Our business history
Select Group Homes was founded in 1999 and are designed to cater to the special needs of persons suffering from dementia disease such as Alzheimer's. We believe there are few facilities comparable to a Select Group Home, therefore, many with Alzheimer's disease end up in nursing homes or wings of more expensive facilities and provide an institutional rather than home-like environment. Select Group Homes is thus a low-cost and preferred alternative to institutional care.

About our staff
Our specially trained family of professional staff is sensitive to the issues related to Alzheimer's. We are committed to providing on-going support services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our personal care providers, and licensed practical nurses successfully combine expertise in care with respect and sensitivity.

What makes us unique
Our goal is to bring dignity back to the Alzheimer's patient by providing a rich home-like environment that is safe and secure and that allows each resident to maintain his or her own individuality and freedom. We are the alternative to conventional nursing home care. All of our residents become part of a small family-like group within a peaceful residential setting.
